chili baby potatoes curry


Ingredients:-

Baby potatoes- 1 lb or use big potatoes and cut into wedges( like sticks)
Onions - 1 cup finely chopped
Red chili flakes - 1 tsp
soya sauce - 1 tsp
chili sauce - 1 tbsp
salt to taste
Ginger - 1/2 inch finely chopped
Garlic - 3 chopped
China salt/ ajinomto - 1/2 tsp
corn starch - 2 tsp for thickening
cilantro for garnishing
Oil for deep fry

Procedure:-

1- First peel the potatoes if they baby potatoes . If you dont have them use bigger. ones and peel them and cut into thin sticks like french fries. Now wash n wioe them with cloth or tissye and deep fry them in oil until golden color and  cooked .
2- place them on paper towel. Now make the gravy  part.  Heat the wok add oil then add the ginger garlic pieces fry then add onions fry well until golden brown. Then add alll the ingredients china salt , soya sauce , chili sauce , chili flakes and finally pinch of salt and mix well dont burn it.
3- now add the potatoes and gry for a min or so add water according to gravy then let it give a boil once it starts boiling check the salt if its ok start adding the cirn mixture yo thicken the gravy( just mix corn flour and water ang give a mix) thats the recipe of corn mixture in brackets. You can add little  ketchup too if you want.
 Now while adding the coen mixture keep on adding n mixing at same time so the gravy mixes evenly.
finally garnish with cilantro.

Paneer Tikkas





Ingredients:-

Paneer - 1 cup (cut into thick cube shape)
Thick Curd/yogurt - 1/2 cup
Kasturi methi dry - 1 tbsp
Tandoori masala - 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Food color red - 1/4 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tbsp
Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1/2 cup cut into cubes shape
Bell pepper/ capsicum - 1/2 cut cut into cube shape
Skewers for inserting and grilling the paneer cuber
Oil spray
Lemon juice/lime juice

Procedure:-

1-First mix all the ingredients in a empty bowl starting with curd(curd must be thick or else the marination will not hold to the paneer) so next add ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric, chili powder, food color, oil, tandoori masala , kasturi methi and mix well. Now separate little bit of paste into another bowl to marinate the onion and bell pepper.  And mix the rest masala with paneer and refridge them for  3 hours.
2-Now take a Tawa and  spray the oil to it to avoid sticking to the bottom. Now skewe the paneer and the onion n pepper cubes one by one and cook them on the tawa in low to medium flame and flip to the other side . In between turn them and cook evenly both the sides until well cooked. Now for tandoor taste lets bring that smoky flavour and burning texture on the paneer by cooking on the direct stove top flame just for a min..as shown in the video...Enjoy it hot

Shahi Paneer/Butter paneer



Ingredients:-

Paneer - 1 cup (cut in cubes)
Butter - 2 tbsp
oil - 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Wine Tomatoes - 3 make into puree
Salt to taste
Heavy cream/ half and half - 1 cup
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Paprika powder - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
Cilantro chopped to garnish


Procedure:-

1-First take pan filled with water and boil it. after it starts boiling off the heat and add the cut paneer to it and leave for few minutes then remove them from water and keep them aside.
2-Now in the same pan add butter and oil heat it then add g&g paste and fry for a min . Then add the tomato puree to it and cook until the oil separates from it. now add all the spices to it and mix well and cook for 1 more min.
3-Then add the paneer cubes and mix them very carefully or else the curry may turn into mushy.
4-Now add little water and close the lid for min or until you see the water starts boiling. Then add the cream and mix gently and leave it for 1 more min by closing the lid. Finally garnish with cilantro...

Enjoy the curry with naan/roti/pulkas/ even with rice very rich in taste and easy to prepare.

Cauliflower(Gobi) manchurian


Ingredients:-

Cauliflower - 1 whole (cut into desired size)
Onion - 1 chopped
Garlic - 3-4   finely chopped
Ginger - 1 inch peeled n finely chopped
Green chili - 3 slit
Curry leaves - few
Soya sauce - 2 tbsp
Chili sauce - 3 tbsp
Tomato ketchup - 3 tbsp
Vineger - 2  tbsp
Food color - a pinch mixed in warm milk
Corn flour  mixture - 1 1/2 tbsp mixed in water
china salt - 1/2 tbsp
Cilantro for garnishing
oil for deep fry
Salt to taste

For batter -

Maida(all purpose flour) - 1 cup
Corn flour - 3 tbsp
Water as needed
Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp

Procedure:-

1-First take a bowl add water, salt n turmeric and bring to boil . then add the cut n cleaned cauliflower florets to it and cover it and let it cook for 5 - 6 min. Then remove them from hot water not to over cook and keep side.
2-Then take a bowl add the batter ingredients all together and give it a good mix and then add little by little water and mix it until the batter is in liquid form. It should not be more thin or more thick.
3-Now heat the oil for deep fry and dip the cauliflower boiled florets into the batter and fry them until golden brown.
4-Now simultaneously take another pan add little oil and fry the ginger garlic chopped and then green chilis then onions and fry until golden color.
5-Then add the curry leaves then all the rest sauces chili sauce, vineger, salt, china salt , ketchup, soya sauce, and finally food color. And give a good mix.
6-Now add the fried pieces of gobi and mix well check the levels of spices and add if any thing needed.
7-then add the corn flour mixture and mix well and cook for a min or so and finally add cilantro and serve.

Dal Tadka



Ingredients:-

For Dal:-

Moong dal - 1/4 cup
Chana dal - 1/4 cup
Toor dal - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1/2 cup finely chopped
Tomato - 1/2 cup finely chopped
Cumin powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tbsp
Chili powder - 1/4 tbsp
salt to taste


For Tadka:-

Ghee - 2 tbsp
Cilantro chopped
Green chili - 3 chopped
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Hing a pinch

Procedure:-

1-First add all the dals in a bowl rinse them with cold water and soak them for 10 min. Then in a pressure cooker cook it until it is perfectly cooked. wen the pressure removes take the dal and smash it.
2-Now in a wok add oil fry onions and then add the dal and spices and mix well add water and bring it to boil. Then add tomatoes and let it cook for 1 more min.
3-Now in another wok add ghee and all the tadka ingredients one by one and fry for a min or so and then add it on dal and mix and serve hot with rice or roti.

Veggie Frankie rolls


Ingredients:-

For Making dough:-

All purpose flour - 1 cup
Salt to taste
Water to mix the dough

For stuffing :-

Paneer – 4 oz / 100 gms
Potatoes – 2 small, boiled, peeled and grated
Salt – 1/2 tsp or to taste
Coriander Powder / Dhaniya Powder – 1/2 tbsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Amchoor Powder (Dry Mango Powder) – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp--
Green Chillies – finely chopped, to taste
Onions – finely sliced, as needed
Cilantro – finely chopped, as needed
Lemon/Lime Juice – to taste
Lettuce - sliced
Tomato - sliced for topping
Mint chutney

Procedure:-

1-First mix the dough and keep aside.
2-Now take a wok add oil heat it then add onions n ginger and fry until the onions are golden brown. Then add the green chilis and then smashed potatoes and paneer and mix.
3-Then add all the spices and salt and colantro and lime juice finally and mix it. And keep aside and let it cool.
4-Now take the dough and make equal size bolls and roll then like roti and fry on the pan by adding light oil to it both the sides and keep aside.
5-Then for stuffing the frankies take the stuffed curry and make cylindrical rolls to fill in the frankie. Before filling them spread the mint chutney on the frankie to give an indian touch. Now make all of them in the same way and stuff each frankie and on top add sliced onion, tomatoes and lettuce for extra taste also add hot ketchup to give the spicy touch. No fold the lower part half the way n start rolling until the end and serve them.

Note:- U can also substitute the frankies by using tortillas available in the market to make your work more easier. And substitute chicken with potato n paneer for nv eaters.

Onion Chutney



Ingredients:-

Onion - 1 large diced
Tomato - 1 diced
Salt to taste
Chili powder- 1/2 tbsp

For seasoning:-

Dry red chili - 2
Hing - a pinch
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp

Procedure:-

1-First take a pan add oil heat it then add the onion and fry till the raw smell disappears. Then add tomato and fry till they fry properly.
2-Cool them. Now blend them in a blender or mixie by adding salt and chili powder to it.


3-Now in a pan add oil heat it then add mustard seeds, hing and dry red chili and saute for a min and add to the chutney.


Serve this with any break fast item tastes yummy. U can even use it as a bread spread.

Eggless Carrot Cake





Ingredients:-

All purpose Flour - 1 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 cup
Carrot (peeled and grated) - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1 tbsp
Baking powder - 1 tbsp
Vanilla Extract - 1 tbsp
Condensed milk - 1 cup
Cinnamon powder - 1 tbsp
Almonds and Raisins optional

For Frosting:-

All purpose flour - 1/3 cup
Butter - 2 sticks( at room temperature)
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Vanilla extract - 1 tbsp
Milk - 3/4 cup

Procedure:-

1- First take a huge bowl and add all purpose flour , Baking powder, Baking soda , cinnamon powder , and mix well now add the oil and condensed milk and mix well with the electric whisker without any lumps. Then add carrot and almonds and whisk well in only one direction.
2- Now pre heat the oven at 380 degree for 8 min.
3-Now Grease the oven bowl and add the batter in to it and tap well so that if there are any air bubbles it adjusts.
4-Now put into the oven and bake it for 20 min in 380 degrees.
5-Keep on checking in between. Then just insert a knife or tooth pick and test weather it is baked or not.

6-Now remove it and cool it in the cooling rack.
7-Lets prepare the frosting for this. Now take a sauce pan add all purpose flour and sugar mix well add milk and mix it without lumps. Now on the stove and keep on stirring so it will not stick to the bottom.
8-Now slowly it starts thickening . When it is thick then off the stove and cool it.

9-Then in a medium size bowl add the butter sticks which r at room temp then add this cooled paste also and beat it until it turns into smooth paste and coordinates well.
10-Now take the cake cut the edges if desired then cut at the center if u r cake is large or else u can make it twice.
11-Now in a serving plate place the cake and apply the frosting evenly  and place the another cake and again apply the frosting all over the cake and edges.
12-If desired add food colors and add in a ziploc bag cut at the edge and decorate it in u r choice.

So friends hope everyone like this and its very easy.  we can prepare it at  home.  when we have any functions  then we can prepare in the before day and can  easily have on the next by storing it on refrigerator.

Strawberry Jam (Spread)

Friends  todays recipe is strawberry jam. Actually many of the people are very health conscious surrounding us. They always prepare homely food for avoiding various kinds of problems like food poisoning or allergies. So for avoiding this they always prepare the recipes themselves in home. As home food is always good food for health. So friends today i tried this recipe and thought to post for my friends. Actually this was my first try. But it really came out well. Frankly speaking its not my own idea. I learnt this from hetal and anuja of show me the curry.com. And tried this i liked it so i also wanted to share with my bloggers....Hope everyone will like this and will also post u r valuable comments .........



Ingredients:-

Fresh strawberries - 5
Sugar- 1/4 cup (if desired can add some more)
Lemon - 1/2  tbsp

Procedure:-

1- First remove the leaves and clean the strawberries and cut them.
2-Now add them in a blender or food chopper and make a coarse paste.

3-Now take a pan add the straw berry paste and also add sugar , lemon and bring into a boiling point until bubbles appear in high flame.

4-Now simmer the flame and cook until the strawberries reduces its quantity into half.
5-Off the flame take a bowl which is fully dry and cool the jam first then when it is warm shift into the jar or bottle. After it cools store it in the refrigerator . It Stays upto 2 months.
6-Serve this with bread toast the bread and spread this jam and enjoy u r break fast.



Note:-

1-The storage bowl should be totally dry or else the jam may spoil.
2-When u store it refrigerator it thickens.

Baby corn curry



Ingredients:-

Baby corn - 1lb washed and slit them half (canned or fresh)
Onion - 1 chopped
Tomato - 1 chopped
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves - 5 count
Green chilis - 3 slit
Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
cumin powder - 1 tbsp
Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tbsp
Chicken masala - 1 tbsp
Cilantro chopped
Oil
Salt to taste
Water for gravy - 1 cup

Procedure :--

1--First take pan or wok add oil heat it and add green chilis, curry leaves and onions and fry then until golden color. Now add the ginger garlic paste and fry well then add tomato and cook until they turn into paste.


2-Now add the salt, chicken masala, chilli powder, coriander  powder, cumin  powder, turmeric and mix well.
3-Add the slit baby corn  and mix fry them for 2-3 min and then add cilantro and water required to boil and close the lid and cook in simmer.



4-Then let it come to boiling point then make it little thicker gravy and ready to serve.

Idli (very famous breakfast)

Idli is one of my all time fav break fast. It is also very heavy break fast. We can make 5 types of break fast items with idli batter i love it. I always try to make different recipe for not making bore our selves . This idli are very soft and yummy they really came very soft. Try this recipe friends . By adding poha and boiled rice in it even makes soft idlis. So guys enjoy this recipe and have a good day.




Ingredients:-

Urad dal - 1 cup
Rice - 2 cups or idli rice
Poha - 1 cup
Boiled rice - 1/4 cup optional
Water to blend
Salt to taste

Procedure:-

1-First soak the urad dal and rice for 8 hours and poha can be soaked before u blend for 5 min.
2-Then blend all of them together by adding boiled rice also.

3-Now ferment this batter for whole night for good results.
4-The much time u take for fermentation the idli will be that soft.
5-Now take the idli maker and steam them for 7-8 min. But my microwave idli maker takes only 5 min to get ready.
6.Serve hot with idli powder , chutney and sambar.  Hmmm it tastes so good.

Onion pakoda and Awards Rain......

Ingredients:-

Onion - 1 large sliced
Besan - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Warm water - 1/4 cup to mix  the flours
Hot oil - 3 tbsps
Ajwain - 1/2 tbsp
Baking powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Chili powder - 1/4 tbsp
Curry leaves optional- finely chopped
Oil foe deep fry - 2 cups

Procedure-:

1-Take a bowl add all the ingredients accept water and onion mix well then add water little by little until it is in the accurate consistent.
2-Batter should be little thick. Now add onion into the batter and mix well.

3-Now preheat the oil in the medium flame and slowly add this batter little by little in the form of bajji's fry well until they are crispy and golden color enjoy hot with cup of tea. Very yummy.
