Baked Shrimp Scampi


Ingredients:-


Shrimp - 15 count (devined and cleaned with tail on) 

olive oil - 3 tbsp
 salt and freshly ground black pepper
12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
4 teaspoons minced garlic (4 cloves)
1/4 cup minced shallots
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves/cilantro
1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary leaves
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

1 extra-large egg yolk
2/3 cup  dried bread flakes
Lemon wedges, for serving


Procedure:-

1-Peel, devein, and butterfly the shrimp, leaving the tails on.
2- Place the shrimp in a mixing bowl and toss gently with the olive oil, 2 teaspoons salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper.     3-Allow to sit at room temperature while you make the butter and garlic mixture.
4-In a small bowl, mash the softened butter with the garlic, shallots, parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, lemon juice, egg yolk, bread flakes, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper until combined.
5-Starting from the outer edge  arrange the shrimp in a single layer cut side down with the tails curling up and towards the center of the dish. Pour the remaining marinade over the shrimp. Spread the butter mixture evenly over the shrimp.

6- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until hot and bubbly. If you like the top browned, place under a broiler for 1 minute. Serve with lemon wedges

Dry shrimp curry



Ingredients:-

Dry shrimp- 11/2 cup
Potato - 1 peeled and diced
Cauli flower - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 medium chopped /sliced
Brinjal - 1 diced
Tomato - 1 chopped
Coriander/cilantro - 1/2 cup
Drumsticks - 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
Chili powder - 1/4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Water - 11/2 cup

For tempering:-

Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds/zeera - 1/2 tbsp
Green chili - 3 slit
Curry leaves - 6 count



Procedure:-

1-First clean the shrimp and keep aside. Chop all the vegetables and clean them.
2-Now take a pan add oil heat it add mustard seeds, cumin seeds , green chilis and curry leaves saute it for a second.  Add onions and fry well then add ginger garlic paste and fry until the onions turns into translucent.

3-Now add the shrimp and fry for a min or so and then add the chopped vegetables and also add all the masalas to it.

4-Mix well fry for a min by closing lid then add 1/1/2 cup of water and boil it until the vegetables are cooked well.



5-Now garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or rotis yummy yummy.

Shrimp fry with Bread crumbs




Ingredients:-

Shrimp (with tail on) - 1/2 lb (Peeled and devined)
Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to Taste
Turmeric - 1/4 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Milk - 1/4 cup
Oil  for deep fry

For Dippings:-

Corn flour - 1 cup
Egg - 2 beaten
Bread crumbs - 1 cup
Salt - 1/4 tbsp

Procedure:-

1-First take the shrimp cut the upper part deeper carefully  so it looks like butter fly and like this

2-Now take the shrimp and add salt, chili powder, turmeric ,cumin seeds, Ginger garlic paste and mix well keep aside for 5 min.
3-Now heat the oil in medium flame. Too much hot oil may burn the bread crumbs and shrimp will not cook properly. So fry the shrimp in less hot oil.

4-Now take the shrimp and first coat with corn flour and then take the egg add little milk and salt to it and whisk it. Now dip in egg mixture then on bread crumbs and fry them evenly until golden color.
5-Now do the same to the rest and serve hot with hot sauce and ketchup.

Shrimp Legs Fry

Hi friends this recipe is very easy and also very new to many people. This is actually prepared from the front legs of the shrimp. We used to prepare this in india by my mother in law. At first i feared to taste this but now i and my hubby love them. Just have this as a snack and serve hot. This shrimp i used is fresh and the whole one i cleaned it by my self and i bought them from   h-mart.

Ingredients:-

Shrimp legs- 20 count
Masala powder- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tbsp
Salt to Taste

Procedure:-

First clean the shrimp and remove the shell and the waste present at the back of the shrimps head and use the under part of that which tastes crispy . Just add oil on the pan and heat it then add these front legs , salt , Turmeric and masala powder and few drops of water and cook for 5 min and serve hot as a snack.

Trust me its tastes awesome.

Shrimp curry



Ingredients:-

Shrimp- 1 lb
Onion- 1 large finely chopped
Green chillis-2 finely chopped
Curry leaves- 5 count
Cardamoms- 3 count(yalak)
Lavang- 3 count
Biryani leaf- 1
Dalchin- 1 inch stick
Coconut milk- 11/2 cup(if coconut milk is skim then use 2 cups of milk)
Salt required
Chilli powder- 1/2 tbsp
Star anise- 1
Fish masala- 1tbsp
Zeera- 1/2 tbsp
Tomato - 2(chop and make into fine puree)
Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
Freshly chopped coriander leaves

Procedure:-

1-First take fresh shrimp peel and devine them and keep aside. If not use frozen shrimp uncooked never use cooked shrimp it decreases the taste of our curry.

2-Now take a medium size wok or pan add 2 tbsp of oil heat it and add cardamoms,zeera,green chillis, curry leaves, lavang, biryani leaf,  \satranise , dalchin and fry them well.

3-Now add onions and fry until they turn into transperent and then add gingergarlic paste and fry until brown colour.



4-Now add the tomato puree and and let it cook properly until it becomes thick . Now add the salt,turmeric, chilli powder and fish masala and fry well. Dont burn the masala.

5-Now add the coconut milk boil it for  a minute and then add shrimp into it and close the lid and cook in simmer flame for 7-8 min and u r shrimp curry is ready.

Ready to serve hot

6-Serve this with  hot rice or chapathi or puri tastes good.

Tip:-

*Never add ginger garlic paste in onion earlier cook onions until transperent then add ginger garlic paste because it takes lot of time to cook when u add g&g paste in onion.

Shrimp fried rice



Ingredients:-

Shrimp- 1/2 lb ( cleaned ,devined and chopped)
Egg- 2 (Beaten)
Salt required
Soya Sauce-2 tbsp
Green peas- 1/2 cup
Onion- 1 chopped
Green onions- 4 chopped (or) spring onions
Green chiilis- 3 sliced
Sprouts- 1/2 cup
Cooked rice- 4 cups
Corn flour- 1 tbsp
Pepper- 11/2 tbsp



Procedure:-

1-First cut the shrimp into medium size pieces if small size shrimp then use them as it is.

2-Then take 2 eggs in a bowl and add little salt and chilli powder and beat it properly and keep aside.

3-Now take another bowl and add the shrimp and add 1 tbsp of corn flour , salt  and pepper and keep it aside for 10 min.
4-Now take a pan fry the shrimp by adding 2 tbsp of oil until cooked.

5-Now remove the shrimp. In the same pan add oil and fry the onions , spring onions and green peas until it cooks.

6-Now in the another pan spread oil and add the beaten egg and scramble it. Dont cook excess it hardens the egg . It should be soft. It should be cooked in simmer.

7-Now add the cooked shrimp and egg in the onion pan and mix well all of these and add rice , salt and soya sauce, pepper and mix well.

Shrimp Pulav

Ingredients:-

Basmati rice:- 2 cups
Shrimp- peeled and devined 1lb
Sliced onion- 1
Coriander leaves chopped
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Grated coconut-1 tbsp
Coconut milk- 3 (if the milk is thin if thick 2 cups)
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tbsp
Green chillis- 2 sliced
Oil required
Cinnamin stick-1 inch (dalchin)
Cardamons- 4 count (yalak)
Cloves- 4(Lavang)
Star Anise- 2 (biryani flower)
Bay leaf- 2 (biryani leaf)
Water- 1cup
Curry leaves- 4 countSalt required
dhaniya powder- 1/2 tbsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric- 1/4 tbsp
Chilli powder- 1/2 tbsp







Procedure:-

1-First soak the rice for 10 min and clean the shrimp.
2-Take a large pan and add oil  heat it then add whole garam masala cinnamon, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, star anise, green chillis , curry leaves and fry well then add onions fry then add ginger garlic paste and fry until brown.
3- Now add  salt, turmeric, Chilli powder,Dhaniya powder  and shrimp and cook well until the shrimp is cooked.
4-Now add the coconut milk , water , salt, and garam masala and boil it.

5-When the water starts boiling add rice and simmer the flame and close the lid. It cooks with in 7 -8 min.
6- Taste the water before adding rice .If the water is not salty add little salt and garam masala.
