Mushroom Biryani


Mushroom - 1 lb (Any kind )
Basmati rice- 2 cups
Water - 4 cups
Green chili - 3 count slit them
onion - 1 medium diced
Tomato- 2 medium
Cardamoms - 4 count
Cloves - 4 count
Cinnamon stick - 1
cashew - a few
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Oil/ghee - 2 tbsp
Cilantro for garnishing
Mint - 1/2 cup chopped
salt to taste


1- First take a wok n add oil to it then add all the whole garam masala ingredients , cashew and green chili and fry for a min or so.
2-Then add onions and fry until golden brown. Then add g&g paste to it and fry.Then add tomatoes and cook then add mushroom ,mint and fry it by closing lid until the mushroom is slightly cooked.
3-Then add the basmati rice and fry for a min or so then add water , salt to it accordingly and cook it in medium flame and close the lid. in between mix it once so all of them mix properly. Now sim it and let it cook for 6 more min. Its ready to serve . Garnish the cilantro and serve with raita.
