|Tomato Rice by Harikas kitchen|
Tomato- 2 finely chopped
Water- 2 cups
Biryani leaf- 1
Star anise- 1
Dalchin- 1 inch
Potato- 1/2 cut into cubes
Green chillis- 3 sliced
Curry leaves-5-6 count
Onion- 1 sliced
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Carrot- 1 chopped
Green peas- 1/2 cup
1-First take a pan heat oil and add the lavang, cardamom, dalchin, biryani leaf, star anise, grren chillis, curry leaves and fry then add the onion and fry it then add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
2-Now add the potato ,green peas and carrot and fry well add little water and close the lid so it cooks soon and well.
3-Now add the tomato and fry until the tomato becomes paste.
4-Now add the rice and fry for a min and then add water and salt and stir well if needed add little garam masala and close the lid.
5-Cook it in simmer for 7-8 min and garnish with coriander and have it like a meal or dinner.
