Puliyogare



Ingredients:-

Rice- 2 cups (cooked)
Tamarind juice - 1 cup or Lemon- 2
Turmeric- 1/2 tbsp
salt to Taste

For tempering:-

Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp
Zeera- 1 tbsp
Dry red chili- 4 pieces
Green chili- 3 count chopped
Curry leaves- 5 count
Pea nuts- 1/2 cup
Chana dal- 2 tbsp
Urad dal - 1 tbsp
Ginger piece- 1 inch chopped

Procedure:-

1-Now take the tamarind add little water to it and keep in micro oven for 50 sec and then cool it and squeez the juice from tamarind and keep aside.


2-Take a pan add oil heat it and add all the tempering ingredients and saute well then add the tamarind juice to it and thicken it then add turmeric and salt and mix well.


3-Now add this mixture to the rice and mix well. Ready to serve.
