Masala dosa


Urad dal- 1/2 cup
Raw Rice-  1 cup
Fenugrrek seeds- 1 tbsp (menthulu)
Salt required


1-First soak the urad dal, rice and fenugreek for 6-7 hours.
2-Then grind them into a smooth paste. Dont add much water.

3-Now add salt and mix well.
4-Now take a dosa pan and add batter and rotate it from center in to a thin layer in circular motions and spread little oil if intrested  spread any powder on it and add curry at the center and fry it until golden brown and serve hot.

Ingredients for masala:-

Potato- 2 (boiled ,peeled and smashed)
Tomato -1 chopped finely
Onion- 1 chopped finely
Spring onions- 2 stems
Curry leaves- 3 count
Green chillis-  2 chopped
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tbsp
Zeera- 1/2 tbsp
Split urad dal- 1 tbsp
Salt required
Chilli powder- 1/2 tbsp
Chicken masala- 1 tbsp
Dhaniya powder- 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric- 1/4 tbsp
Freshly chopped coriander leaves


1-First take a pan add oil heat it then add the  mustard seeds, zeera, urad dal, green chiilis, curry leaves
and fry for a minute  till the mustard seeds crackles.
2-Now add the onion and fry until golden colour and then  add  the  spring onion and then add tomato and fry until paste and  now add the salt, chilli powder, turmeric, dhaniya powder, chicken masala and mix well. Add the smashed potato to it and mix well  fry for a min and serve hot by garnishing with coriander leaves.
