Tofu curry in different style


1 1/2 lb tofu cut into cubes
2 onions chopped
1 garlic clove chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
1 inch ginger chopped
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 tbsp masala powder
2 jalopeno peppers cut into cubes or pieces
1 cup water or vegetable stock
Salt to taste
Chilli powder
Garnish with pudina or coriander


*Take a pan add oil for frying.Then fry the cut tofu in the pan and keep aside.
*Place the onions,garlic,ginger,tomatoes together in another pan by
adding 1 tbsp of oil and cook for 3-4 min until the onions are
softened and golden brown.
*Now add the  pepper and masala powder and fry  properly then add
water  and simmer the flame for 5 min by closing the lid.

*Now add salt,cumin powder,chilli powder,curry powder,masala powder
 and mix well . Now add
the tofu  and fry it for 1 min . Now add the water or
vegetable stock  and cook it for 5 min by closing the lid. So the tofu sucks the gravy well.
