White Pomphet fry in easy and simple process in south indian style


Promphet fish-2
Rice flour-1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Chilli powder-1 tbsp
Haldi powder-1/4 tbsp
Fish masala-1 tbsp
Curd-1/2cup optional
Lemon-1 Cut into slices for garnishing
Chat masala-1/2 tbsp
Dhaniya powder-1 tbsp
Zeera powder-1 tbsp
Rice flour 1 cup in a plate for dipping the fish
Oil for deep fry
Coriander leaves for garnish
Tomato cut into round shape for garnish
Onions also cut into round shapefor garnish
salt to taste


*First clean the fish properly and keep aside.
*Now take a bowl add rice flour,ginger garlic paste,salt,chilli
powder,dhaniya powder,zeera powder,curd if u like,fish masala and
mix all this by adding 2 tbsp of lemon juice to it then add
little water and mix it dont make too loose.The paste must stick to the fish.
*Remember the paste should not be watery it should be little
*Now take the fish just give some cuts in the center not totally
so the masalas goes into the fish properly other wise it sticks
only out side does not gives taste inside the fish.
*Apply the paste in and out side of the fish carefully with out any
gaps and marinate it only for 1 to 2 hours not more than that
because  we added lemon to it it may change into bittery taste so
be carefull.
*Now take a pan heat it and add 5 tbsp of oil take the rice flour in a
plate and take the fish and coat the fish with rice flour both
 the sides and fry it in the pan until cooked.
*Now spread little chat masala on it and also spread little lemon
juice to it tastes yummy.
