Fish Curry with Masala Gravy


Fish- 1 lb(cat fish)
Yogurt- 1cup(curd)
Saffron- 1/2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - finely chopped
Ghee optional instead of oil

For masala:-

Red chillis dry-2
Green chilli- 1
Onions - 2 cut
Badam- 5 count
Ginger garlic paste-2 tbsp
Black pepper corns whole-1/2 tbsp
Coriander seeds-2 tbsp
Lemon juice- 1tbsp
Turmeric- 1/4 tbsp
Garam masala-1 tbsp


1-First fry all the above masala ingredients and make a fine paste and keep aside.
2-Now cut and clean the fish and add little salt, turmeric and chilli powder and mix carefully and fry them in apan by spreading little oil.
3-Now take a width pan and add oil or ghee and then add the masala paste and fry for 7-8 min it takes little time .Fry it well until the oil comes out and the paste starts sticking to the pan.
4-Then add the beaten curd and mix well. Now add salt .
5-Now add little water and mix well and boil for a minute and add the fish to it and boil the fish for 5 -6 min.Then garnish with coriander and its ready to eat......
