Chicken kodi Sherwa


Chicken- 1 lb
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tbsp (avvalu)
Zeera- 1tbsp(jilakara)
Oil required
Red dry chilli-3 pieces
Zeera powder- 1tbsp
Dhaniya powder- 1 tbsp
Salt required
Chilli powder- 1/4 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tbsp( pasupu)
Onion-1 chopped finely
Coriander leaves
Garam masala powder- 1/4 tbsp

For paste:-

Khas Khas- 2 tbsp
Coconut shredded or pieces- 1cup
Cashew- hand full (Kaju)


1- Take a pan add little oil heat it add mustard seeds, zeera , dry red chilli, and onion pieces and fry them then add ginger garlic paste and fry until brown.
2- Make a fine paste of khas khas, cashew and coconut and keep it aside.
3-Now take a bowl add chicken, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, dhaniya powder, zeera powder, garam masala powder and the paste and mix properly.
4- Now add all this in the pan and steam it properly until the chicken is cooked and add little water and close the lid. Leave the gravy according to your choice.
5-Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve this with rice or chapathi tastes good........
